 How to avoid feeling overly full on Thanksgiving

Here's how to avoid feeling overly full on Thanksgiving Day. Let me give you three tips.

 

Number one, do not skip meals. Make sure you're having breakfast. You want to have breakfast and eat every three to four hours throughout the day. When you go too long without eating, you're going to end up overeating later on.

 

Number two, take a smaller plate if you can and be mindful of portions. You always want to fill your plate with protein, some veggies. If you want a side starch, you keep it to a small amount and this way you don't overdo it there.

 

Number three, dessert is fine. I love dessert. I love sweets. Take a small little sliver.

 

There's no need to push yourself to fill up on dessert because you can always go back for more.
