Nut butter tips
If you're a nut butter fan like I am, I love the nut butter section at Trader Joe's. I actually just went through all of these. The only ingredients in most of these nut butters, it says dry roasted peanuts. A lot of nut butters, commercial nut butters, have sugars in them, high fructose corn syrup, added salt, so you definitely want to always read the labels.
I am an almond butter girl. Almonds are actually a really healthy nut. They help to lower your cholesterol. Plus, the ingredients are just dry roasted almonds. If you are someone who has a peanut allergy, you can get sunflower seed spread. It's a great alternative. And if your child's school is allergy friendly, you can definitely bring this instead of a peanut butter sandwich.
